Aloha, Bob Vorfeld
Robert (Bob) Theodore Vorfeld, 85, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on October 6, 2012, at Hale Makua Kahului. He was born on March 26, 1927, in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduated from Punahou School in 1945 and the University of Hawaii in 1950, after serving twice with the US Navy in the last stages of WWII and later during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Maui Country Club, director and board member of Lahaina Restoration Foundation for many years, member of the Rotary Club, and a chairman of Maui United Way. Golfing, hunting, deep sea fishing, landscaping, and growing orchids and flowers were among the many things Bob enjoyed.

Private family services will be held, with a scattering of ashes at a later date. The family requests no flowers and that donations be made to Hale Makua Health Services, 472 Kaulana Street, Kahulu, Hi 96732, or American Heart Association, 95 Mahalani St., Ste. 13, Wailuku, HI 96793.
