Bill Mullin prior to his untimely death  According to Jack Vorfeld's recollection (2000), Bill was around 18 years of age when he died. The son of Al and Sylvia Mullin, Bill worked for his father at Iweld. One day Al instructed Bill to take a wheel tractor to do some work near what is now Ala Moana Shopping Center. Bill resisted. He felt the assignment wasn't safe, but Al insisted. Bill died when the tractor flipped. Al and Sylvia had strong differences over the reasons for the accident, and lived separately for the remainder of their lives.  Copyright Judy Vorfeld.
