Many people write me asking about a former employee of Oahu Sugar Company, and I always send them to the Hawaiian Sugar Planters' Association Plantation Archives. But that doesn't mean that they're dropping their search once they've visited the archives. They want any information available about those people who were part of their lives. If you need information about someone, please ask me. I will put the name and information on this page, and send you an email if anyone responds.

Edward Fitzhugh Slaten I believe was a plantation physician with Oahu Sugar Company, Waipahu, in 1943. I wondered if you had any information in your archives, photographs, etc.

Douglas Slaten may have been an accountant at Oahu Sugar Company around the same time.
