The Weber FamilyThanks to Shirley Bomke-Craddock for the historical data Friedrich (Fritz) Heinrich Weber, born April 2, 1874 in Mariendrebber, Hannover, Prussia, was the son of Heinrich Eberhard Weber (1829-1908) and Margaret Lucie Georgine Buns (1842-1917). Fritz was Rosine Weber Janssen's brother, and Jack Vorfeld's great-uncle. He died in 1953.
On July 10, 1906, at St. Andrews Cathedral in Honolulu, Fritz married Marie Friedrike Mengler (1881-1978). Alex Mackintosh presided at the ceremony. Marie was born in Klippkanne, Germany. She was the daughter of Louis Theodore Mengler and Margarete Friederike Quade.
We don't have much information on Fritz and Rosine's parents except that they came as young people with their families from Germany to Hawaii in 1883. They must have been exceptional people: they left a line of exceptional people.
